Stud Owner Assurances

1. That a stud service will be given by this above named stud dog to this bitch as soon as the bitch will stand for a natural breeding, or as indicated by progesterone tests.
2. In the event of using fresh chilled or frozen semen, the collection will be done by a qualified veterinarian and shipped immediately to the bitch's veterinarian.
      a. Side by side Al shall be performed by an experienced veterinarian.
      b. OR the bitch owner indicates personal preference for veterinary services for this process.
      c. OR if bitch is found to have strictures, a TCI or possible surgical implant shall be given as options.
3. That the stud dog owner guarantees that the dog's clearances are accurate as indicated in Bernergarde. Copies of all certifications shall be provided upon request, and
        prior to any breeding. In some cases, preliminary evaluations shall be accepted on a case by case basis.
4. Brucellosis negative confirmed within 30 days prior to this breeding, results upon request.
5. Extreme care shall be given to your bitch, while in our home. She will be protected from other dogs, walked regularly and have lots of love and one on one time to reduce stress and make her feel at home during her stay with us.
6. Pasch's Bernese contact information shall be included in all of your puppy packets, to be available as an additional resource for your selected puppy homes.
7. Pasch's shall also be considered as #2 in the line of support, as stud owner, should any puppy ever need be returned, throughout it's life, for any reason,
   This is my commitment to any puppy we cause to be born, from any breeding we do with our own bitches or for those we provide stud service for.

Bitch Owner Requirements

1. To supply the stud dog owner(s) with the bitch's pedigree, OFA, and all other clearances. If this is listed on Bernergarde, this will be considered confirmation of that data, but copies of all are appreciated.
2. That the bitch is in good overall health - free of heartworm, lyme, parasitic infections, communicable disease, kennel cough, flu, etc.; and that she is of sound mind and temperament. 
3. That a negative Brucellosis result is needed prior to any attempt at a natural breeding, within 30 days prior. If not, only Al breeding shall be done, at bitch owner expense OR a brucellosis can be done for you for the cost of the test at the vet, plus $50.00 fee for us taking your bitch to our vet. 
4. The fee for the stud service is $2,500, in US funds. A non-refundable service fee of $300 will be paid at the time of arrival of the bitch if she is to stay with us during her breeding time. For shipping semen, any related costs shall be paid before semen will be shipped if frozen or fresh chilled, payable to our vet. 
5. Three live puppies at one week of age will be considered a litter, and full stud fee of $2,500 shall be due. If there is only one puppy living at one-week of age, the only cost is the $500 service fee. If 2 puppies result, stud fee is $1,200 total. If $500 service fee was paid, deduct from stud fee and pay balance only. 
6. If a puppy is to be taken from this breeding in lieu of a stud fee, then the owner(s) of the stud dog shall have second pick puppy from the litter. The puppy must be decided upon by 8 weeks of age. If puppyback option is selected, the $300 service fee either will not be charged up front, or if it was charged, it shall be refunded to breeder upon receipt of the puppy. 
7. Any veterinary expenses related to the bitch's care and breeding will be paid for by the bitch's owner. You may call our vet with your credit card number. Veterinary service includes, but not limited to, all costs incurred should we feel the services of our veterinarian are necessary while the bitch is in our care. Notification shall be provided ahead of time, but these would include artificial inseminations, progesterone testing, preparation of fresh-chilled or frozen semen, or any care for sickness, accident, injury, etc. 
8. If the bitch stays longer than one-week due to poor timing, stalled heat cycle or your own personal schedule, a charge of $30.00 per day will be assessed for boarding services, and is due and payable at the time the bitch is picked up.
9. No offspring from this litter shall be used in any "doodle" or other "hybrid" breeding programs.
10. No notification of accident, injury or illness of any puppy resulting from this litter shall occur via social media-phone or email communication shall occur to stud owner first! 
11. All puppies born from this breeding shall be registered with the AKC by the owner of the bitch prior to transfer to their new homes.
12. All puppies must be placed on AKC Limited Registration with a spay/neuter agreement. All show prospect puppies not kept by breeder, shall be approved by stud owner well in advance, and placed only in agreed upon homes. No novice homes shall obtain a dog on full registration.
13. This litter shall be entered into Bernergarde.org, by the breeder, within 30 days of the puppies transfer to new homes.
14. The breeder shall furnish the stud dog owner with the names, addresses, phone number and email address of the people to whom the puppies have been sold. It is expected that the utmost care will be used to ensure that the puppies from this breeding are placed in warm, loving, and safe homes.
